Reflecting on a Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Vision

The start of a new year is always a great invitation to pause, reflect, and be intentional about what we hope to build in the year ahead and beyond.
2025 was a monumental year for Elevate. It was also emotionally, mentally, and physically demanding, not only for me, but for my entire family, as we pushed toward completing our new building. We’ve officially been in the space for about one month now, and it still feels surreal at times. Even in this short window, we continue to see provision showing up in real ways.
I’ve always been someone who writes and journals periodically, especially during times of growth or uncertainty. As I read some of my notes not just on the past year, but on the last five years, I’m reminded how much perseverance and provision that was required to get to where we are today. This year stretched me more than I ever have been (even more than the triplets!). I made mistakes. I questioned myself, my decisions, and at times whether I was truly equipped for the responsibility I had taken on. And yet, there was a steady sense of peace from God and the people He surrounded me with that kept me moving forward.
There were periods of fatigue, weariness, and moments where the finish line felt out of reach. Timelines shifted (multiple times), plans changed, and control was never fully in my hands. Still, what I needed was provided week by week and month by month. Looking back now, it’s clear that the timing worked out exactly as it was supposed to.
One month into our completed space, I feel both immense joy and ongoing disbelief at how far Elevate has come. This growth didn’t happen overnight. It came from long hours, hard conversations, courage, trust, and many unseen moments of sacrifice. At the center of it all has always been a desire to serve this community and people well.
I am deeply humbled by the time, energy, and sacrifice my entire family has poured into Elevate. This business and building would not be what it is today without them. The new space is just as much a reflection of their heart, their belief in serving and loving people well, as it is mine.
I am also incredibly grateful for the professional relationships that have been part of this journey: the networking connections, mutual contacts, friends, and family who played a role in bringing each practitioner to Elevate. Each provider here dreamed of something great, not only for their own business, but for the health and wellness of Southwest Nebraska.
Elevate has become a hub for local businesses that believe in community and collaboration rather than competition. We truly believe we are better together. By supporting one another and sharing our collective knowledge and skills, we are able to serve our clients and patients at a higher level.
The Heart of the Vision
Five years ago, my vision for Elevate was simple but deeply intentional: a place where, the moment you walked through the doors, you felt at home. A place where you felt you belonged. Where you weren’t just listened to, but truly heard and seen. Where you knew you mattered.
That vision included professionalism, respect, and genuine care, and it still does. What began as a desire to create a better way to provide physical therapy and wellness has expanded into something more holistic: multiple avenues of health and wellness that look at the whole person, not just a single concern.
I often talk with my patients about how physical body dysfunction rarely exists in isolation. Alongside pain, injury, or not feeling well there are often emotional and mental challenges, loss of independence, loss of joy, and sometimes even loss of identity. At Elevate, we strive to meet people exactly where they are. We are here to see you, hear you, and help guide you toward full-body wellness, not only during times of injury or medical need, but beyond that through holistic preventative care and long-term health support.
Our goal is to help you take care of the body you’ve been given so you can live fully and well to serve others fully and well.
Looking Ahead
Where Elevate stands today began as a vision placed on my heart, but it exists because of so many others. Every patient who entrusted us with their care. Every client who walked through our doors. Every provider who chose to grow their business alongside Elevate. Every hour of labor poured into this building. Every referral and word-of-mouth recommendation, each one played a role in bringing this dream to life.
As we look to 2026 and beyond, our guiding words are salt and light. In a small community, we are a visible presence, and we hope to not only impact those who walk through our doors, but to be a positive influence throughout our region. Our desire is to bring value to people’s lives, enrich them, and help them live well through the passions and skills we’ve been given.
Here’s to continuing forward grounded, centered, and intentional, so that the care and service we provide can be an overflow to those around us.
Thank you to every person who is part of Elevate or has been impacted by it. You are the why. You matter. And your health matters.
